For some reason the 2001 Mesa V30's have a particularly unique voicing compared to any other period, and these are the perfect example of that. Still very much a V30 sound, they have a smoother less abrasive top end which gives them a fatter midrange voicing. This is THE metalcore speaker and a very familiar sound to anyone
